Maloney has developed a line of high-performance rubber body Cementing Plugs, capable of withstanding downhole temperatures of 375° F(188° C). These plugs are rugged and durable, intended for use in the extreme high temperatures and pressures encountered in onshore and offshore activities.
Maloney Cementing Plugs are used worldwide. They are designed to have a positive wiping action to ensure a clean casing. The rubber components are compounded and manufactured by Maloney to precise industry standards and are stocked for immediate shipment.
Top Plugs– Solid
The bottom section of the top plug is designed to exert continuous pressure on the casing wall. They are specially designed with a glass-filled high strength phenolic resin core. The tapered base fits the cavity of the bottom plug for a positive seal. Available in solid rubber only.
Bottom Plugs– Phenolic Core
Like the top plug, the fins and tail section provide positive wiping action. Fins also serve as a seal while cementing. They are specially designed with a glass-filled high strength phenolic resin core. A rubber diaphragm at the top of the plug ruptures after the plug is seated allowing cement to flow through.
